七八年，国策变，

改革开放启，

致富路上登。

摸石创新把河过，

茫茫世界不曾先。

崇西如日中天，

八九遇艰险，

幸得有慧眼。

戈氏心志遭蒙骗，

一失足成千古恨，

泱泱大国铮铮民族

仿西丧己蹶不振！

央国劳力有余，

西方资本过剩，

一步一个脚印，

全球化各方皆迎！

和平演变颜色革命

五眼联盟更欺压霸凌，

遍地骄横！

待到榻边闻鼾声，

方知危机已临。

遏制再由心头起，

处处刁难羁绊使，

尽显修昔底德陷阱！

文明之战，西方遏制，

是否能成？

起初鄙视，

偶亦合竞，

遏制不停，

到如今偏执极端行。

纽约恐袭遇天机，

重返亚洲却换人，

上苍顾念怜悯，

然全面遏制共识显。

十里埋伏，

抬望眼中华民族

最危时刻再面呈！

失败论让地割城，

苟一夕安寝。

焉知秦兵又至，

虎狼环绕四境，

妥协求和和亡，

民族复兴唯有抗争！

速胜论夸大西嫌，

帝国困甚易妄言。

内团结统一，

外连接友力，

持久抗衡就赢。

折腾乃活力源泉，

革新才如日方升，

苦熬不乱终获胜。

New Protracted War

In the year of nineteen seventy-eight,

Started the policy change of the Chinese State.

When open reform became a mandate,

The country started a road to get rich quick.

Touching stone to cross the uncharted river,

It’s a creation unprecedentedly clever.

History rolled forward to nineteen eighty-nine.

The bi-polar world reached its finish line.

Western values were worshipped like divine.

Fortunately for China there was great mind.

Gorbachev’s single slip of being blind,

Brought a thousand-year sorrow to his land.

A great nation that was not that behind,

With the character never to succumb,

Suddenly fell on the world stage sideline.

The Middle Kingdom had abundant people,

The West possessed plentiful of capital.

One step a time reform and open door,

All benefit from globalization sequel.

Subversion through peaceful evolution,

Destabilizing others using color revolution,

Bullying and indifferent to other’s normal operation.

All is arrogance in every direction.

Until there is a strong competition,

A crisis looming of losing the insurmountable position.

Containment and cold war segment,

Making everything as an impediment.

It all seems once again,

The world is in the Thucydides entrapment.

The western domination,

The clash of civilizations,

And the new world order,

What would come to us as the final realization?

Initially despising,

Occasionally coopetiting,

The containment has always been in place,

With the paranoid and extreme all now displaying.

New York terror event presented a chance.

The Pivot Asia was a temporary dance.

The ChinAmerica would survive with God’s pity.

Until the consensus spiral to create a new enemy.

Under ten miles ambush,

The most dangerous push,

The moment of life or death,

Forced upon the Chinese nation in such a rush.

Failure theory of the losing school of thought,

Trade up the land that was hard fought,

Only for one-night of sleep merely bought.

Waking up in the morning facing another day,

Surrounded by the enemy who won’t go away.

Compromise for peace and peace will die,

To rejuvenate the nation we need to fight.

Quick win theory of the winning kind,

Exaggerate the division of the Western mind.

It’s only a denial and a lie,

That superpower is in decline and falling behind.

With strong solidarity and internal unity,

Allying external forces who are friendly,

The protracted war is the winning strategy.

Bold attempts are source of emancipation.

Reform and innovation bring the rejuvenation.

As the morning sun just rises from afar,

Slow and Steady will shine like a star.

After twenty years of time,

Hope for the usual mountain climb,

At the pinnacle of the mountain top,

Overlooking a whole new paradigm.
